I
have been in the Army for the past 25 years as AGR (active guard
and reserve) with the Colorado Army National Guard. I am
currently the First Sergeant of a Military Police Company in
Denver, Colorado. I have an Associate Degree in Marketing and
Merchandising and a Bachelor of Business Administration, Human
Resource Management. . I love to paint with acrylics on rocks
and leaves along with terra cotta pots. I specialize in wildlife
of all types. I have always loved to paint and was inspired by Lin
Wellford and her painting animals on rocks series of books. I am
completely self taught and have no formal art training. I
started painting on rocks in 1997 and have found a new canvas
with natural leaves. They are a very challenging medium and I
enjoy the presentation they give my work.
My
personal interests and hobbies are fishing and hunting in the
Colorado Mountains, photography of wildlife, watching the Denver
Broncos, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Avalanche. I am also an
amateur archeologist and collect Stone Indian Artifacts
I
have been married for 35 years to my wonderful wife and life
long companion; we have three children, one boy and two girls
and three grandchildren. I am looking forward to going
camping and traveling in my new travel trailer, with my wife, as I get ready to
